SDG 14. Life Below Water

Posted On: 04/04/2022

Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources.

Oceans cover more than 70% of the Earth’s surface and are vital for global ecosystems, climate regulation, and livelihoods. However, pollution, overfishing, and acidification are severely damaging marine environments.

Protecting and restoring marine biodiversity is essential to sustaining life and economies that depend on ocean resources.

The SDGs aim to reduce marine pollution, regulate fishing, protect coastal ecosystems, and increase scientific cooperation for ocean conservation and sustainable use.
