SDG 5. Gender Equality

Posted On: 03/04/2022

Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls

Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but also a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world. Progress has been made over the past decades, yet gender disparities persist globally.

Women and girls continue to face challenges such as limited access to education, healthcare, and employment, as well as violence and discrimination in both public and private spheres.

The SDGs aim to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls by 2030. This includes ending all forms of discrimination and violence, ensuring equal participation in leadership and decision-making, and guaranteeing access to reproductive health and rights.
