SDG 15. Life on Land

Posted On: 04/04/2022

Protect, restore, and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems.

Forests, wetlands, and other terrestrial ecosystems are critical for sustaining biodiversity and mitigating climate change. However, deforestation, desertification, and land degradation continue at alarming rates.

Conserving and restoring land ecosystems ensures food security, water quality, and the health of the planet.

The SDGs aim to manage forests sustainably, combat desertification, halt biodiversity loss, and promote the restoration of degraded lands and habitats.
